If you write about local gifts, Buffalo culture, sports fandom, or unique home goods, we’d love to have you share our products with your audience and earn a commission for every sale you send our way.
How it works
- Apply. Fill out the form below; applications are reviewed by our team before approval.
- Share. Once approved, you’ll get a unique referral link to share in blog posts, gift guides, or social content.
- Earn. You’ll get 15% commission on every sale made through your link.
Program details
- Commission rate: 15% on qualifying sales
- Commission is calculated on the final sale price after any discounts. Shipping and tax are not included.
- Tracking window: referral links are tracked via a cookie that lasts 7 days from the visitor’s click
- Attribution: if a visitor clicks a different affiliate’s link before purchasing, credit goes to the most recent link they clicked
- Self-referrals: commissions are not paid on an affiliate’s own purchases
- Payouts: issued monthly via PayPal once your account balance reaches $50
- Approval: applications are reviewed manually; we’ll be in touch once yours is approved

FAQ
Which products can I promote? Any product in the 716 Candle Co. store. Share your unique link to any page and you’ll earn commission on whatever the visitor buys.
How do I track my clicks and earnings? Once approved, you’ll have access to an affiliate dashboard showing your clicks, referrals, and pending/paid commissions.
When and how do I get paid? Payouts are issued monthly via Stripe or PayPal once your commission balance reaches $50. If you’re under $50 at the end of a month, the balance rolls over to the next.
How long does my referral link stay credited to a sale? 7 days from the visitor’s click. If they buy within that window, you get the commission, even if they don’t purchase on their first visit.
What if someone clicks another affiliate’s link after clicking mine? Credit goes to whichever affiliate link was clicked most recently before purchase.
Is commission calculated on the full order or the discounted price? On the final price the customer pays after any discount. Shipping and tax aren’t included.
Can I earn commission on my own purchases? No, self-referral purchases aren’t eligible for commission.
If you are approved you will be required to submit an IRS Form W9.
