What’s in a Fragrance Oil / Scent?

Not all candle fragrances (scents) are created equal, but 716 Candle Co. have gathered some of the very best that have been extensively tested and rated for performance in our soy candles.

Acqua Di Gio
A sexy, fresh, aquatic aroma with bergamot, neroli, and tangerine; flowing into mid notes of rosemary, jasmine, and persimmon; all sitting on a woodsy base note of essential oil of patchouli.

Apple Harvest
A ripe apple fragrance combined with bright fruit notes and just a touch of spice.

Apples and Maple Bourbon
A fall favorite that is a twist on the traditional apple fragrance. We start with fresh apples and blend in a touch of vanilla, maple, and a punch of smooth bourbon.

Baby’s Bottom
Fragrance that contains white cedar, ylang ylang, cypress, and musk. It is a complex fragrance that elicits a simple response – this smells just like Baby Powder!

Black Cherry
Sweet blend of rich vanilla and ripe cherries with a pinch of spicy clove.

Black Cherry Merlot
Black Cherry Merlot is a boozy, sophisticated twist to the classic black cherry. Top notes of black currant and apple brighten the red wine and black cherry heart of this fragrance. Aged oak and amber base notes highlight the merlot, while vanilla balances the sweet finish. Patchouli and nutmeg essential oils enhance the wood and spice notes for added depth.

Blueberry
This wonderful fragrance oil is a fresh blueberry scent. Single note of blueberries.

Botanical Gardens
This fantasy bouquet comes to life with the fusion of honeysuckle, jasmine and gardenia surrounded by plump berries. Hints of green and musk complete this classic, enduring tropical fragrance. (AKA Plumeria)

Buffalo Bitten
Dracula would fall in love with this fragrance. Fresh citrus notes of lime and orange sparkle with effervescent highlights as they lead to a luscious blend of berry and cherry in this playful scent. Leafy green accents add intensity as a base of vanilla creates sweet tones for the fragrance. Smells just like Hawaiian Punch.

Buffalo Christmas
A classic holiday fragrance that tells the story of a cozy holiday night spent sipping wine in front of the fireplace. Buffalo Christmas combines orange spice notes from the kitchen, fir and pine notes from the Christmas tree, and an earthy smokiness from the fireplace.

Buffalo Lake Effect
A wonderful snowy Christmas fragrance. A crisp clean peppermint aroma with hints of vanilla bean.

Buffalo Zephyr
Nostalgic aroma of fresh linens (Clean Cotton) dried on a fresh breezy day. The top is bright with lemon, lime, green apple and clean ozone. The middle blends cedar, jasmine, lavender and lily. The base is a soft violet, lavender and musk. (Zephyr is defined as a gentle breeze) (AKA Clean Cotton)

BuffaLove
Compare this fragrance to the smell of the fabric softener. A fruity floral blend of peach, watermelon, neroli and jasmine on a dry down of aquatic notes and musk. (Clean Breeze)

Bug Off
Infused with the oil of the citronella plant, this classic scent combines a top note of green citrus with a bottom note of fresh clean camphor. This fragrance oil is infused with natural citronella essential oil. (AKA Citronella)

Butt Naked
The tantalizing base note medley of granny smith apples and honeydew melon, middle notes of strawberries and pears, with hints of spice.

Cassia and Amber
Complex and exotic, Cassia and Amber Fragrance Oil combines the woody accords of the Asian cinnamon tree called cassia with patchouli, eucalyptus, clove and floral red rose.

Citronella
Keep those pesky mosquitoes at bay with our Citronella fragrance. A top note of lemon peel adds a boost of citrus to the lemongrass heart. This camphoraceous scent performs well in soy wax, resulting in strong citronella candles that don’t just smell great, but help deter mosquitoes, too.

Our Cranberry Marmalade fragrance is a luscious blend of tart cranberries, spiced apples, and fresh orange peel.

Lake Erie Breeze
This fragrance is a complex bouquet of carnations, lily of the valley, and hyacinth; underlined by oakmoss and white musk. Will remind you of Tide laundry detergent.

Mistletoe
A festive pine scent with a top note of sweet berries and green apples. The heart is the scent of Siberian pine needles.

Monkey Farts
We know you are expecting to read a disgusting description, but this unique complex fragrance is anything but disgusting! This unique fragrance begins with top notes of fresh bananas and juicy grapefruit, middle notes of kiwi, juicy bubblegum, and strawberries; and a hint of vanilla as a base note.

Moon Lake Musk
A deep yet balanced musk that is well suited for either masculine or feminine products. Notes of fern and orris add to the musk flower and woody base notes.

Mulberry
A vivacious fruity and berry blend with cherries, apples, peaches, strawberries and tangerines.

Oakmoss and Amber

Sea Salted Caramel
This scent begins with top notes of sweetened creamed butter and sea salt; followed by middle notes of caramel; sitting on base notes of vanilla, maple, and sweetened condensed milk. Smells edible, unfortunately it is not.

If you are from Buffalo NY you know exactly what this is. This will remind of you a wintery-fresh bright sunny day. An invigorating blend with peppermint, patchouli, cedar wood and eucalyptus.

Spice Market
Picture a far-away spice market from long ago… Our spice market fragrance oil captures the explosion of aromas with strong notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and just a hint of the exotic.

Tea and Lemon Grass
This bright and natural smelling citrus begins with a top note of orange Valencia, bergamot tea and plum wine. The heart combines jasmine, violet, lavender and orange flowers. The dry down is a clean citrus musk.

An intense vanilla aroma, and subtle touch of cream.

White Tea
White Tea is the ultimate, luxurious spa fragrance. It starts with fresh citrusy top notes of mandarin and bergamot.
